Our story
More Than A Business
It was late one night and a bunch of guys were chewing the fat and solving the world's problems on Facebook. This group had grown like wildfire, and unlike typical social media groups, they actually started getting together and hanging out. Relationships were being built. Sam Byler (owner) was wondering why he seemed to be in the popular position he was in. Someone fondly commented that he was like the Ambassador to the industry they were all in. Someone else added the S for Sam and that was the beginning.
Sambassador Trucks was started as a service to the shed hauler industry and still remains focused on that even as it grows into a lot more. Some of the haulers call it Truck Church - where trucks go to be born again. Which suits Sam just fine. Nothing he would rather be tied to then people being born again.
Sambassador Trucks specializes in complete truck restoration. But they will do any project, regardless of size. Diesel fuel, black smoke, loud pipes and chicken lights. That's what it's all about. Chrome might not get you home, but it sure makes the heart pound stronger.
Come see us. And see what it's all about. It's not just a business, it's a way of life.
Meet the Owner
Sam has been in the trucking industry since 1987. As a driver, an owner operator, an independent contractor, and as a fleet owner. He lives and breathes diesel smoke. This shop was started to keep him at home and off the road so mama (35 years together) can be happy and sleep well at night. His passion is bringing old trucks back from the brink of extinction.
